![]() I'm not really into changing the tuner just now as my country (Brazil) is in the process of changing to digital TV transmissions. This transition is far from finished but whenever that happens I'll get myself a digital tuner. At that time everything will probably be Win7 compatible. For now I'll just play my music on the media center and watch the TV directly on the ENU software. #ENCORE TV TUNER MANUAL#īy the way, the manual for the tuner was made in 2006 so we are not talking about brand new hardware. No wonder it won't work with certain new applications. Obviously over time we are all filling more and more junk onto the HD's. I have one internal HD with 2 partitions: C-drive with Win7 and associated programs. Size 19.4GB with 4.3GB free D-drive with the old XP installation which I suppose still works. ![]() Size 55.1GB with 40.1GB free Plus a Samsung USB external HD size 150GB with 17.5GB freeįunny thing is that Win7 was installed on the D partition (secondary) but after installation the C partition (primary) became D and D became C, thus rendering Win7 on the C-drive. The D-drive with the old XP is of course a completely abandoned wasteland with lots of folders and program installations that are not used (like a complete Office installation), but with lots of free space. Therefore I have put the pagefile on that partition. I considered placing the pagefile on the external HD (that has a much better benchmark), but that would imply having the HD installed permanently. ![]()
